Dr. Matt Queen
Associate Pastor
Dr. Matt Queen serves as our associate pastor. He is the husband of Hope and the father of two daughters. A graduate of Mars Hill College (BA in Religion and Philosophy and minor in Biblical Languages) and two-time graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv with Languages and PhD in Applied Theology with a Specialization in Evangelism), Dr. Queen brings over three decades of experience in a variety of roles and contexts as a leading voice in evangelism. A passionate evangelist and author, Matt has written several books, most notably "Recapturing Evangelism: A Biblical and Theological Approach," as well as co-authoring the 2023 Outreach Magazine Evangelism Resource of the Year, "The Gospel Invitation: Why Publicly Inviting People to Receive Christ Still Matters."
Carolyn Owens
Assistant to the Senior Pastor
Carolyn has served Plymouth Park Baptist Church for over 31 years. She is married to John and they have two adult children. She graduated from Center High School before attending Panola Junior College. She loves to read and serves as the lead administrative assistant and assists the senior and associate pastors.
